See Thru Mirror (Two-way mirror)

See-thru or two-way mirror has a semi-transparent aluminium film deposited on the substrate that allows a percentage of incident light to pass through, while reflecting the remainder. From the illuminated side, it’s a mirror; from the darkened side it’s transparent. This material is used in monitoring/surveillance, infinity lighting, multiple imaging and advertising applications.

First Surface Mirror (Double-sided mirror)

An opaque, two-sided mirror consists of an opaque film of aluminium, protected by a tough clear coating. Light incident from either direction is reflected.

First Surface is often used in retail display and special lighting. The dual surface reflection property is ideal for those applications where the back side of the mirror will remain exposed, or where a reflection in both directions is desired.

ARmadillo (AR) Coating

ARmadillo coating offers an abrasion, solvent and stain resistant coating on one or two sides. Increases and enhances the versatility of the substrate. It is abrasion, stain and solvent-resistant improving durability and extending product life.  

ARmadillo surface is ideal for any surface encountering frequent contact with human touch, impact, contact with food, solvents or other materials. ARmadillo can also be written upon with erasable markers, making it useful in scheduling boards and restaurant menu applications. It has been field proven since 1980 to resist such materials as ketchup, mustard, shoe polish, chemical dyes, tincture of iodine, gasoline, bleach, acetone, methanol, sulphuric acid and many others.

ARmadillo will not effect the fabrication tolerances or procedures you are familiar with when working with mirrored sheets.  

Anti-Fog

Anti-Fog/Non Mist coating is engineered to perform. It is made to withstand fogging/misting under the toughest conditions. Our manufacturers have a thorough inspection process to ensure that our coated products meet out customer’s high standards. Anti-Fog coatings are applied under the same stringent class 10 clean-room conditions as our hard-coatings.

Polymasking

Each mirrored product is well protected with a removable masking on the front and /back.

FABBACK®

A grey paint backing on all our mirrored sheet products. This backing is the most durable, toughest, scratch-resistant backing in the acrylic mirror iindustry.

Papermask

Armadillo coated material is supplied with papermask on both sides as additional protection over the Fabback® backing for ease of handling, fabrication and working with mirror sheets.
